Following a revelation of various abuses of office at the Malawi Embassy in South Africa, Government of Malawi through the ministry of external affairs has dismissed the Immigration incharge, Julius Chapunga at it’s Consulate in Johannesburg, South Africa.
According to a letter this publication has managed to access, dated 25th January 2021, Chapunga has been dismissed and ordered to return home within seven days.
Following the ill-treatment most Malawians were subjected to at the Malawi Consulate in South Africa, some concerned Malawians across the Zambezi were planning to hold Vigils at the consulate on Thursday
