The effects of covid-19 are still haunting parents and pupils who are expected to sit for this year’s government examinations in various school classes
An announcement by the country’s examinations board (Maneb) suspending the 2020 Primary School Leaving Certificate (PSLCE) and PTCE examination timetables has completely paralyzed efforts and expectations of many parents and children.
According to a circular which our news desk investigations team has sourced indicates that indeed the timetables have been quashed giving the whole examination program.
Signed by Maneb’s Executive Director, Gerald Chiunda the communique states that “this suspension is due to Covid-19 pandemic that hit the whole world,”
Several Parent-Teacher Associations have already combined about the wasted 2019/20 school calendar.
