Malawians living in Dublin, Ireland will today Sunday exercise their Democratic right by casting votes to elect their new leaders in diaspora.
The name that has emerged the favorite to take the Chairmanship is that of a charismatic, Henry Mkumbira who has all along assisted many people (Malawians) both across the sea and in his home native country.
In a random interview in cities of Dublin, Lilongwe, Blantyre and Mzuzu, many Malawians have hailed Mkumbira for several charitable works he has initiated in all the three regions of Malawi.
“I believe it is a big day for Malawians in Ireland to choose him (Mkumbira) who has already started working for the common good of the under privileged here back home.
“The needy are now going to school had it been not for his generosity then surely the future of those brothers and sisters would not have been what it is now,” said Ulemu Bazzare Nyirenda in Mzuzu City.
Malawians in Ireland will today, Sunday cast their votes on Zoom to choose new office bearers who will lead countrymen and women in various socioeconomic endeavors.
