A fourteen year old Divine Kaponda who lives in Dublin, Ireland was declared as the Winner for the Association of Malawians in Ireland (AMAI) virtual Got-Talent Kids Competition which started on 6th November to 28th November 2021.

The announcement was made on AMAI Malawi Facebook Page by the Chair for Entertainment Magga Mateo via a live televised programme.
Divine Kaponda was voted by the judges as the winner for displaying amazing skills in arts, drawings and painting.
The Association decided to come up with this competition to identify skills amongst Malawian Kids in Ireland. AMAI will definitely come up with another event of same sort next year. Chairperson of AMAI, Henry Mkumbira Phiri explains.

Divine will walk away with €100 equivalent to Mk100,000 Malawi Kwacha. Second placed Angelica Khonje from County Louth walked away with €75 and the Insight Kids got €50 for coming third.
The organising chair, Magga Mateo has however thanked all kids who participated in the competition for being outstanding and phenomenal. She also expressed gratitude to the sponsors Moto Money for coming in at the right time. As for the judges, Franz Amin, Vida Germano, Michelle Lofts and Diolet Chikakwiya, I can’t say much for the amazing job you did. AMAI is so grateful. Mateo laments.
Meanwhile, 19 kids from across a divide participated in this competition and they will all walk away with €20 each for the participation.
