A Court in Lilongwe on Friday gave creditors to Alliance for Democracy (Aford) President, Enoch Chihana a go ahead to sale his expensive cars for failure to pay a multiplication type of financial bebt (katapira).
The Court heard that the Aford leader obtained a loan (Katapila) at 50 percent (%) in interest in the capital city, Lilongwe.

Having failed to remmit the debt, the creditor took the matter to court to seek legal redress on how Chihana could pay back the loan.
On Friday the registrar of Commercial Court in Lilongwe, Anne Zungulira gave the creditor a go ahead to sale the vehicles so as to recover his money.
In a related development, couple of days ago one of the former cabinet ministers (during Mutharika’s administration) who is also a parliamentarian in Nkhatabay District was beaten up by some creditors in full view of onlookers passing by for also failing to pay back a multiplied type of loan popularly known as Katapira.
