There was not even a single supporter of the United Transformation Movement present at Mzuzu Roundabout when president Lazarus Chakwera was arriving in Mzuzu City on friday afternoon.
As per tradition whenever Chakwera or Chilima are visiting, supporters from both parties converge to receive them.
But that was not a case on friday afternoon because no even a single woman cladding in UTM colours could be spotted in town.
UTM and MCP are heavily campaigning in Karonga Cebtral Constituency where MCP’s Leonard Mwalwanda will be meeting UTM’s Frank Tumpale Mwenefumbo on 10th November’s by-election following the death of the parliamentarian for the area, Conelius Mwalwanda.
