What Caused Chilima’s Motorcade Road Accident? Read Full Report By VOMI Radars

Phalula fatal road accident involving motor vehicle registration number BW 1732 Toyota land Cruiser Station Wagon driven by Mr. Wilson Age. 51yrs Vge. Perekamoyo T/A.Mtwalo Dist. Mzimba C/O Office of the Vice President P. O. Lilongwe and motor vehicle registration number BW 8173 Toyota Vits Saloon driven by Mala Kamanga full particulars not advised Box 301, Mangochi.

Facts are that, Motor vehicle registration number BW 1732 Toyota Land Cruiser V8 Station Wagon was being driven from the direction of Zalewa going towards Chingeni behind the convoy of the Vice president as a back up vehicle with one passenger (Guard Commander senior Supt Lukasi Kapheni Age. 41 yrs Vge. Kauzigalu T/A. Wimbe Dist. Kasungu.

Upon arrival at Mtimawoyera near Phalula Trading centre, a convoy was was exchanging direction with registration number BW 8173 Toyota Vits Saloon which had three passengers on board.In the course of exchanging direction, the driver of Toyota Vits Saloon lost control of the his motor vehicle and swerved into the convoy and collided with a motor vehicle registration number BW 1732 Toyota Land Cruiser V8 Station Wagon.

Due to the impact, two unknown females died on the spot and one male passenger died upon arrival at Phalula health centre, while the driver escaped with fractures on both hands and multiple cuts on his forehead.The driver of motor vehicle registration number BW 1732 Toyota Land Cruiser V8 sustained multiple cuts on his face, bruises on the right hand and painful neck, while the passenger senior supt Lukas Kapheni sustained painful chest.

Motor vehicle registration number Toyota Land Cruiser V8 Station Wagon had its front part extensively damaged while motor vehicle registration number BW 8173 Toyota Vits got extensively damaged. Occurred on 11/07/2020 at around 12:00hrs at Mtimawoyera Parish near Phalula Trading Centre. BA/TAR/55/2020. Factual report to follow refers.
